HOW DOES IT WORK?

Crystal Microdermabrasion. The microdermabrasion minimizes the signs of aging by bombarding the skin with a stream of multi-faceted crystals used to exfoliate and polish the outer keratin layer of the dermis. Diamond Head Microdermabrasion operates without the need for crystals. The exfoliation process occurs when a diamond tipped head makes contact with the skin and abrades against it. In both crystal and diamond microdermabrasion systems the dead skin cells are suctioned from the skin.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

Microdermabrasion causes minimal discomfort and requires no recovery time. During the treatment you may feel a slight stinging or tingling sensation as the crystals exfoliate your skin. There will be a visibly healthy glow following your treatment. Removing the dead cells has revitalized your skin and prepared it for better absorption of a topical nutrient. We highly recommend the use of a high level sunscreen throughout and after your microdermabrasion series. Continued treatments may be necessary to maintain optimum results.
